  The DLSS produces numerous publications each year. This includes With All Due Respect (the DLSS fortnightly newsletter), as well as the First Year Guide, The Careers Guide, The Vibe and Me Juris. The majority of publications shall be available for all students to download from this section!   With All Due Respect
 
 

With All Due Respect is a newsletter published by the DLSS for law students. It is released every 3 weeks at the Melbourne campus, and allows the DLSS to inform students of all relevant upcoming events, whether they are our popular free BBQ’s, or information about seminars and publications relating to finding a career in law. WADR is available to download from the DLSS website, alternatively limited hard copies are available from the WADR folder on the DLSS Noticeboard on Level 2 of the Library.

The Education Guide is your one stop shop for all Deakin policies and producers that pertain to your studies. Filled with useful information, it can assist you in applying for special consideration or for having your results reviewed, let you know what to do if you are accused of academic misconduct and inform you how to show cause if your enrolment is restricted or excluded.

  The Vibe  
 

The DLSS yearbook, this highly sought after publication records the highlights of each calendar year. Filled with photos of successful DLSS competitors holding the silverware or people partying that will cause those repressed and drunken memories to come flooding back, it also contains a few words from those who were there to give you ‘The Vibe’ of the year that was.

The only publication to go straight to the Pool Room, it is released at the final BBQ in October each year or you can download it HERE.

 
     
  Me Juris  
 

Me Juris is a comprehensive guide to all LLB subjects offered by Deakin University .
It includes information on every LLB subject by a student who has successfully undertaken the subject (so you know what really goes on) and by the lecturer who teaches it (so you know what they really expect).

Me Juris is Latin for "In My Opinion", so heed the advice of those who have gone before you and use it to gain a valuable insight as you pick your electives and structure the time table of your degree.

  Competitions Guide  
 

Here at the DLSS, we are quite proud that we can lay claim to running more competitions than any other LSS in Victoria . Furthermore, we can also claim that we have one of the best Competitions Guides in Australia . Not too heavy, and not too light, the Comps Guide, as it is affectionately known, is just right. That is, that you can get the low down on each DLSS competition and its rules, see an example problem and marking criteria sheet, hear from a previous winner of each competition and find out more about competitions run at state and federal levels, without being left bored senseless.
