College of Law
The next College of Law Practical Legal Training courses start on 3 or 4 October in NSW, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.
The Enrol By date is Monday 19 September.You can also request a copy of their new 2012 PLT Handbook via their website. To apply, enquire or request the handbook click here.
Constitutional Amendment
The DLSS has a proposition to take out the position descriptions from the constitution and move them to a separate document called “Position Description Burwood” this document can be altered by a special majority vote.
If you have any issues with these changes please email vp-administration@deakinlss.org and they will be read to the committee prior to the final vote on the issue.

The Careers Guide has up to date and relevant information on career opportunities and application tips, with a focus on the Seasonal Clerkship process, Graduate programs and PLT courses.

Deakin Law Jumpers
Initial orders for jumpers have been placed, if you would still like a jumper please send an email to the email listed below.
The jumpers come in sizes 8-14 for Women, and S-XL for Men - we will have sample sizes at the BBQ for you to try. Additionally this year there will be a choice of 2 colours! Grey with maroon details, or maroon with grey details!
The jumpers are priced at $45 each and can be paid for at the BBQ. Orders close on July 31st, and any off-campus students wishing to place an order can contact vp-publications-marketing@deakinlss.org. Additionally orders will not be placed until they have been fully paid.
