Join the DLSS on Monday 20 October from 12pm - 2:30pm in the usual spot between H3 & H4. Celebrate the end of the year in style with pizza rather than a BBQ. There will be a number of different pizzas and they will arrive at 12:15pm and then again at 1:15pm, with soft drinks, beer and bourbon available all day. Me Juris is the DLSS' Unit Guide. Far more substantial than the Deakin Uni Handbook, it gives you a summary of each and every law unit from the perspetcive of the lecturer and a student who has undertaken the unit. It is invaluable for not only chosing your electives but also for finding out about the compulsory subjects that you will be studying. Me Juris is latin for 'in my opinion', so take the advice of your peers and click HERE before you re-enrol.

From 1 January the School of Law has changed the requirements for registering your 30 days practical legal experience that is a requirement for completing your degree. As of 2008 you are required to register your work experience before you undertake it to have it approved by the School of Law. You also have to have your host organisation fill out a section of the form.
